Heather E. Gibson is an Associate Lawyer with Sanger & Swysen. Ms. Gibson obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of California at Davis in 2002. She obtained her law degree from the University of Santa Clara School of Law in 2005. She served an internship with the Santa Clara County District Attorney's Office in the Environmental Crimes Unit and went on to practice in the area of civil litigation in the Silicon Valley. Ms. Gibson was elected to the Board of the Santa Clara County Trial Lawyer's Association before moving to Santa Barbara to join Sanger & Swysen.

Ms. Gibson is a civil litigator with the firm. She handles civil rights cases including discrimination on the basis of race, gender, age and disability; police misconduct, including wrongful death; business litigation, including employment and regulatory matters; significant personal injury cases; and defense of civil litigation related to governmental investigations and other civil lawsuits.
